Yep we saw you guys parked up a side track, we carried on down and turned onto another track and didnt get back to our camping area until about 7.30 ish. Its a vast area to play in, although we had seen some of your groups( Jeepers??) tyre tracks off and on during the week end. On Friday a group was parked over a track exit fixing tyres just as we were coming out.
How did you find the tracks ? easy? Tuff ? Lame? Interested in going back again with real 4wd people and trucks? Is your crowd going back next year same time ? ( ANZAC falls on a Saturday 2009) We could be organising another weekend away soon ?
cheers

Erm, dont quite know what you mean by real Im quite happy with the crew I was with, who have extensive 4x4 history with very modified vehicles. Also quite happy hanging with the other Hamilton ORE crew too....... perhaps im reading too much into your comment.

The tracks were cool. Certainly some were tougher than others, I had to be winched a few times, primarily due to not having lockers (I was one of two out of 8 that wasnt locked up), and in areas where we had 3ft water ruts to deal with (pic following). But all in all, with enough thought, and some throttle control, everything was manageable one way or another. Certainly look forward to future outings down there.
