I dont think so..it shouldnt be that high..we can work around it if not ..bring a tarp for a water blind if you arnt sure

sweet as i dont think you need the hardest or most modified truck to come ..there will be plenty of ropes and help if you need it ..last time i went from the camp was 4 years ago in my stock as a rock 60 series on 31 bald all terrains and i was sweet..run wat you brung have a good time..

HAHA yeah sorry it was a bit of a shambles when i got :shock:

its still pretty beaten up but at least it runs sweet,went down the waimak tonight theyve bowled alot of trees and the big ruts and holes are all flat now,North side near moto cross area

Thats because we are not supposed to be frequenting that particular area.
There is a designated area further up the river for us all to "play" in.
You will also find the south side restricted to 4x4 use.

Ok, ok, im commin along. :wink:

I have given Sunday's trip a miss.

I will however, be bringing a newbie with me. "Mike" will have his wee zuki but has little off-roading experience, so I will stick with him.
He has no snorkel either, but at least he's got recovery points, so im told.

On a side note; I got a nice new snig chain and tree protector today from Cookes, but was a little brassed off when they didn't give me any discount, we buy heaps off them at work.
We might even get a chance to have a play with my new "Lan-Cor" ground anchor if there is time.

I also would like to know how the trip went and see some photos if any.

Sadly my fuel pump decided it was time to pack up an hour before the event, my son, his friend and I were gutted. We had really looked forward to this trip.

was a good trip went from rangiora bridge to okuku then up the okuku river, prob round 12 or 13 trucks turned up forgot my camera but saw a few others with them so hopefully theyl put some up.
