Hi Andi
You should be like me and not have any avatar, we dont need one. You are bigger than that and have a real truck and you are still part of the A team .
I would still do posts and give them heaps , especially on the track where it matters. Dont let Pauls heads get TOO BIG

On the track is where it is where the nanna's are seperated from the men as we have seen in the past on many occasions.

Thats my puddle, get your own one, thats what 150mm of rain does in Westport in two days. If you are silly enough to follow me then jobs on, I finished the Haast trip with all windows accounted for and only a few scratches which is good, I would hate to damage any panels, it would look untidy then.

I have about 10 years worth of Andi Delis's STRANGE ROVER videos but you will have to be patient while I dig some out.

I must admit the rangy sounded good but you still need to finish the day, Andi has gone to the dark side now with the handbag, Prado, 35" simex tyres, diff locks and a bad attitude to make it all happen.

Like Paul said the Strange Rover sounded good and had about 800mm articulation but every day the bonnet was up and power doesn't always get you through.

It certainly looked good and I was sorry to see it die for the final time at the Clarke river xmas 2006

Well I liked that statement. SO THERE!

And my truck has tried them all. Started with a 2lt, then 2.8 supra, then a 3.0 cressida, and now the baby Fee 8.

But check out this vid of the screaming supras, and you can't call 6 in line waste of time.

We have to get this thread back on track.

We cant let the best of British take over when we are talking about the impressive Prado's towing ability. The Driver is still in question.

Obviously this was before all the other goodies went on Paul.

Oh, and it's hardly fair using the Strange rover as the towed one there Bulletproof. I think everyone who went out a trip with that had at least one go at towing it

I remember that piece of reefton track (above with the cruiser tow) well from previous Canterbury club trips. We call it slab hut creek - comes out onto the track to big river. More than half the trucks didn't get up without a tow on one trip and one almost flipped. Very pleased on that occasion when my isuzu swb popped straight up no problems with just a lsd.

Two trucks rolled there on a trip 3-4 years ago. Always a challenge, and downright dangerous when clay is a bit wet.
