thanks reece
so out of all of those of you who frequent rallywoods and would be considering this event.........
what tracks do you consider we should be looking at for this event taking into consideration that I will be trying to add a track of two that you would probably definitely have to winch
input time please
and after slipping over more than 5 times trying to walk widowmaker, even if we were allowed, I wouldn't consider sending anyone up there. I have seen 3 too many trucks written off on that track.
cheers
SKID
(wots my title ?? anybody ??)p.s. 3rd trial on dec 7, 4th trial on jan 25th
any body keen to do this over xmas/new years

Without wanting to sound like a wet blanket..... the difficulty with trying to use rallywoods in the middle of summer is that everything is dry and hard and it means winching stuff has to be steep high angle shit which makes it a bit more dangerous for a "Fun" and "Shiny" bunch of novices without lots of hard yakka experience and safety stuff like harnesses and cages
I'm not trying to throw a bucket of water on the idea but just something to consider for the direction of the event and what the objectives would be

But i think you've brought up a good point.
I'll think I'll pass on this event.

So true, we can always tip water down the tracks, we know it doesn't take a lot of water to make them more interesting.... also put on more clothes

can we open some tracks in the unused part of rallywoods? anyone with a good bull bar could make some tracks in there? just have other people with slashers and chainsaws walk through afterwards

whats with the "walkies" bit, i'm sure we build 4wd for a reason, to eliminate all possible exercise

saves the hassle of extracting a truck from a rack that is overgrown and hiding hidden dangers in an area with steep hills and bla bla bla, you get the idea.
Reece, can you print me off one of your GPS maps of Rallywoods and does it have track names on it

Hey Mike.....I suppose that there is a possibility that the 90 could be finished by then..........if so count me in for team Rover.......(otherwise I could just bring the rally truck
