The long block (ex manifolds pumps etc) weighs 200kg
The cylinder head weighs 50kg so have to make sure its 100% ready to go on

farkme.. :shock: :( thats heavy.. reminds me of my ol 3b I had to send to dunoz.. from memory it was around 290kg on a pallet with all accessories. :shock: reckon I saved a 100 kg give or take a bit with my lex conversion.. :twisted:

Of course thats nothing in terms of diesel engines ... :wink:

It does give you a certain respect for your vehicle especially considering the amount of times my poor old girl has come to a suddent stop thanks to a tree or bank ... the engine still wants to keep moving even if the body isnt!

I have a trolley that my old man got from work a month ago that needs a few modifications and the engine will sit in there a lot better.

Always the case, think of a newer safer idea then casually forget about it then murphys law strikes and hurts your knee :(

I threw out the old headbolts and washers not know that the new set didnt come with washers!!!!

So in the meantime been doing some port matching since it's cheap and even if its only a small benefit, theres no harm in doing it

^^ only broke the vaccum controlled throttle adjustment thingy for the A/C I think, biffed it.

New stand:

Head bolted down, just gotta get new tensioner and spring as this one is too loose for my liking

Then do turbo, clutch, injectors $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ :cry: :lol:
