I changed the test to a missing letter in nz city names. I think I would fail it on some of them!

I've changed it to one of those impossible image ones. I've installed a forum spambot user checker which checks against a spam registrar for common forum spammers.
lets see how that goes.

On a different forum I help out with all user registrations are manually accepted. Zero spam, but LOTS of work.

Has it got to the time frame where "newsbys" - (spamming low life scum) that post new topics are vetted first before being let to post straight onto the site.

Admin i think you need to close the site down until there are systems in place to control this lastest 3 to 4 days of spam.
Send an email with a new log in or something similar.
They realy are just scum...
