For those interested there is a CCVC trip round wainui coast this Sat as well as a driver training on Sun, Its CCVC's 35th Anniversary and this is a rerun of the 1st ever trip....

I can keep you posted on future trips visitors can attend....

Its scary looking at at the old pics (which are on slides), all people are driving are landrovers, the odd FJ40 and LJ zuks!!!

Sunday the 18th or 25th seem to be clear in the CCVC trip diary Turoa, also there is a CCVC event at aotea on sat 1st of July (a family fun day) which people may be keen to attend....

I can only make the saturday 17th as sunday i will be in christchurch. I imagine the club calendar wont effect to many people on here that weekend if the club trip is a shiney one as most of the people having fun last time seemed pretty keen on trying the hard stuff :wink:

If it does happen on the sunday make sure someone is taking the cool action shots and I can get hold of em

keen for a meet, but unfortunatly i only have this saturday off this month..

Just got handed a cd with about 20 mins of video footage from the play at Aotea Block. Theres a good selection of stuff there. If anyone's techno savvy and keen to try and edit it into a piece then i can burn you a copy. Its saved as .vob files which may pose a problem. Does anyone know if theres a mac program to edit such files with? If there is then i'll have a go at it myself. There's clips of turoa, sam, myself, mike, the zebra landcruiser, anthony (i think) and his safari, and the pommy guy's safari whose name escapes me, and a blue pajero, who i don't think i met. Drop me a pm if you're keen

Hey Nick,

If you can get hold of a program call iMovie which is for Mac then it would be simple to do. Its pretty good fun and easy to use.

Yes seeing your landy has inspired me to take 2 days off work and roll it out of the garage and do lots of shit to it, first time in 7 months.

I voted for sat. I'm keen for regular after hours missions. the more night missions etc the better.

Just saw the NZ4WD magazine and bought it

Jerry must have sent them in. They had jumper going through the long bog, and me being bounced into stuck mode by mike and ?.
