But this is just the period where if someone offers silly money, I'll sell. But otherwise. It's just for advertising it before re-listing it as a dollar reserve auction. Then it WILL sell and I'll only get what ever someone is prepared to pay, on the day. :wink:

Don't go writing off that style of rig on the cc rating. I don't know if you have driven one, but tehy tend to go quite well. Admittidlly if you are towing heavy stuff, the bigger rig is better, but I tow my boat and the Mutt with the Prado with out too many worries. Weight wise, the boat is a 20 foot stabi and with gear onboard maybe weighs 1.4t. The Mutt on the other hand is 2.2t + gear (500kgs) + trailer (545kgs), and it will seat 8 people. But I still think you are best with 100 or a new 200 series crusier.

Std completely restored 40s are going for over 20,000

Markets are a funny thing. A month or so ago an unrestored DB5 went for around 1/4 million and a restored one at the same auction was around 160,000

That sort of power, or lack of it, is not going to do you too well if you are looking for a tow wagon. Looks like this is a real base model with the old 12 valve motor. Compare those power figures to any other 3+ litre turbo intercooled diesel.
