What a great day, my thanks to the organisers, was well worth the effort, the challenges / hazards provided their share of carnage for the competitors, and the spectators sure did their job with plenty of cheering
Many thanks to passenger pete for jumping in rugby boots and all, don't know if he'll be keen again tho, mixed bag from me with a roll in the morning, and again in the arvo we still battled on and finished the day, not one of my highest scroring days but finished up pretty much damage free and mobile.....loving it my cheek muscles are sore as from laughing and smiling so much...it's great to be alive here's a few shots of us on 4 wheels and not on 4 wheel courtesy of Bob Utteridge (Quadracer) cheers Bob

well vomitron drove round to the first hazard at the beginning of the day in rear wheel drive.. 3 hazards later i'm drivin it back onto the trailer in front wheel drive. blew a rear driveshaft uni (a lux one.. ) on a hazard where i was tryin to stomp it to stay on wheels rather than roof.
so that was my day.

I stopped (or is that detoured) to the Oxford tavern on the way home to watch the end of the rugby, strangely enough they sold speights there and although I was travelling alone I thought it would be rude not to indulge at least for one or two with the locals and watch WALES WIN

I wished I could of driven or even been there. God knows I need the practice. But family came first today. But couldn't have my buggy on a Sheffield day parked in the garage. Ash driving and his bro Andy co driving? What a team! They've been four by four pedaling most of their lives thanks to their late Dad. I wasn't surprised to here they came 4th in their class.
Keep the pix coming guys. I'm loving em..
Nibs, sorry to hear the rear drive shaft failed. But you'll be there next year i bet. Tim, you got a new rig to get used to. You'll get the hang of it. And yep, it sounds mean the last time I heard it.
More pix, more vids please. I'd love to see pix of my bros fj40. he tells me mud in the clutch plate put him on the trailer. Get an auto bro.

bugger it was a competition and i didn't realise , most thought it was a fun day....including the organisers who always make that real clear at the start of the day
If it was a fun day......I won (in my world anyway), if it was a comp then well down the list The Mrs is very pleased with the prize I chose for her tho, got her vote for entry next year
