we crossed many rivers after scanning for best/easiest way over haha got all the way down to the powerlines from pretty much the riverbed start at the bridge, till one got stuck and had try make it back in the other to get help

That brings back memories, back in 1977 we used to bounce around the waimak in a humber 80
