Has anybody here run those poly airbags inside there coil springs before?
If so have they lasted alright?

Cheers

Ive got them in the back of my prado for towing all my work gear around the country, they have been awesome, you can let them down for a bit softer ride or blow them up to the max for a big load.
I chucked 30lb in mine a year ago, dragged the trailer to Darfield, thrashed around in the rivers and the mountains, checked them a couple of days ago and they still have 30lb i them.
You wont regret putting them in

Cheers

Haha yeah its a small place round here huh. Took the old girl over the Old Man/Woman range in the weekend. Had some issues with the front right CV chattering in the stub, made a mess of the brass bush. Ended up just driving it in 2wd home over the Nevis. Then when I got home I noticed another rumble in the jungle AKA rear end.......Rear wheel bearing this time. So fingers crossed it should be nice and quiet now.

May try those air bags if I can get my hands on a set.

1 year later........truck is still doing the job. Ended up lifting it by 40mm to get it working and driving right. Handling is ok but not like it used to be (standard) but I seem to put up with it. Havn't done too much off road but what I have done it seems to go pretty good. Got a few trips coming up with the west coast for a week capping it off. That should let any bugs work there way out.
