New Headers
No too dificult... but it took me near 2 full days...
some of the bolts on the underneath are a real B!*ch to get to... and there is no way you can get a torque wrench on them...
also, my arms are scratched to buggery.
The intake and the exhaust manifolds do touch at the rear of the engine... but i got all the bolts in...
I'm pretty sure the intake is sealed, but where they touch it will be putting upwards pressure on the intake, and wanting to create a gap.
is this going to be a problem...?
The other option is to grind a bit off the intake so as to relieve the upwards pressure. (from googleing, others have done this)
All the instruction i could find, said the bolts needed to be torqued to 24 - 26 ft-lb...
this seamed very light to me...
but shes on, and runs smoothly (sat in the garage)...
Smoking heaps as the paints burns off / sets in...
Road test this weekend... but i am ever hopeful all is good...
