sO sATURDAY IS ESTABLISHED AS THE PLAY DAY THEN?????

(bloody caps lock... sorry)

What is required then, folks talking of a bbq, need sommat to a) cook on, b) kai. Has anything been arranged for cooking?

I am happy to talk to the rep at work and see if i can score one or maybe two bbqs for use.
Assume we're bringing our own kai.

Time for the first tyres to get dirty????

Oh yeah.... errrmmmmm...... ahhh....... DB, is the little jeep and driver allowed on the property? (thought it polite to ask given past circumstances, it is ur dads property after all.)

Im planning on leaving dorkland about 9 - 10ish. Will take approx 1.5 hours to get there. May have about 4 vehicles in tow, me, the old man and his Disco, Rotazuk in his rangie, Mate Bob in his camozuk, Callum still coming down?? Might have to go straight to the swamp to get that out of my system   then back too the hills and drains to show my (lack of) flex

Still undecided on staying over. No one else has really put there hand up. Be a shame to have a non boozy bbq :?

Oh and we will have to get a Mo Bros group Photo

 Your most welcome xj, no need to ask :D :D

Right well....the arrangements:

I reckon if people aim to show up at around 11am, that should take us to around a 12:00 kick off.

There's a few (approx 5) courses to play on that every one should be able to drive.

Then there's the mud. Haven't decided the best way to tackle that one, but from our little play last weekend, there is a line that should be driveable buy most. I think we will peg out some crazy lines for some of the lighter more agile trucks for the spectators amusement 8) 8)

There is plenty of wood around (old stuff from milling) if we want to build a bonfire later, and with all the man power, wouldn't take more than half an hour.

Bring ya own steak, sausages, possum, what ever it is that you like.

Now, BBQ's. Only had one lined up as thats all i can get my hands on with out hiring one, so if ya wana see what you can come up with xj, that would be wicked.

So on that note, see you all at around 11am on Saturday 2nd at 340 Kay Road, Horsham Downs 8) 8) 8)

spoke to the rep and hes happy to spare at least one bbq, and he's checking on the availability of the second.

Any idea on how many are turning up? No need for half a dozen bbqs if there's only 20 or so people. Let me know on, say, thursday.

Little pig, little pig:------ I got a mate tagging along thats prettymuch decided hes opting for a zuk as waka of choice, be cool if he could pick ur brains a bit about the zuks.

I'm with ya on the mo thing lil piggy, spoke to wopass earlier today too and hes keen to leave it on for the occasion.

As for the swamp......... might leave it to the big footed bretheren.........

Hmmmm, I think we got roughly 13 vehicles coming maybe more:

Me
Toyoda
Wopass
Dixie
xj
Madaz
4wdbits
Mercutio
Lilpig
Rotazuk
Brent
another of Rex's crew
Brianr70

So i think it would be usefull to have two fires if we can.

Just bear in mind its a fun day, and its what you make it, with this many vehicles and a small plot of land its gonna be a day of watchin and taking photo's, sitting back and having a laugh, and testing you self and your truck in creative ways. Later on it might be a case of whatchin people launching them selves off the top of hills at the bog to see how far they can get 8) 8)

From Tauranga, its tricky to describe, try http://www.wises.co.nz , but you want to come through Hamilton staying on the eastern side of the river and find River road. Head north out of town on river road untill you hit Kay Road on the right, we are at the far end of Kay Road. There is a quicker way following gordonton road, or if you came to hams through morrinsville, but you would be best left to looking on a map for those options i reckon.

More vehicles = more rules and more structure to the day, a fark load more waiting round, and even more kool photo's.

Hey Wopass, you got that tape ready for Friday evening/Saturday morning?? We gonna need the courses and transit routes between courses set up really well.
