Anyone know where the factory Trans breather ends up?I traced it up bell housing and can't see where it ends up.Its tight gap to try put new fitting on Trans so thinking will just tap into what's there.

Spent last couple weekends wiring up light bars,egt/boost gauge, winch and did a reverse camera aswell.
Took it for a boost still stock it's running 8-9 psi and highest egt I could get is 470 at dumpy.
Will tweak it up a bit after getting it legal
Next up wheel alignment then go get cert

Breather kit I scored has 4 breather ports and came with 4 fittings only used 3 of them so decided to use 4th one and put it on the winch.
Added 2 10w led on back to help with reversing in the dark.

Little update
With the 37 inch tyres and wieght of the exo cage it not holding overdrive so basically it a 3 speed auto and struggles a bit on the hills.
Thought about the transfer gears but doesn't give me much of a gearing change in hi range
So got hold of Tim and ordered some of 5.29 diff gears
Flagging the auto locker too and ordered a arb locker so it's better on road
Decided to to all this before go for cert so it drives better and my speedo won't be so far out.
No picture update so upload some of my winch breather and reverse lights

Haven't installed them yet want do all new bearing brakes etc while it's apart just need to save some more $s first.
It's only 46kg heavier than my 100 loaded with work gear and that still hauls no worries.so I'm thinking tyres size is what's holding it back.
I'm confident it will go all good up the hills with gearing and boost added

This 80 doesn't have cdl button so in high range center diff is only lsd.
Will only lock when in low range
Been looking online found new genuine one $90 to my door

Yeah gary a gc and did top job he's a awesome welder and fabricator we talked for hours brain storming shit for design and let me help out when I could.
Still going to get him to build me a spare wheel carrier later on just not sure on design yet
Here's a shitty pic of the reverse camera actually works sweet for a cheap chinese ebay jobie.
Set it up so start of the red line is half meter from rear bumper also helps to see bmxs etc in driveways

Got all my parts for full diff rebuild front and rear
Includes all wheel bearings diff bearings swivel hub bearings gaskets etc.
Last owner had only just replaced rear pads and rotors so I brought new front rotors front and rear metallic brake pads
Should give me a good chance to pass brake test for cert

Been mucked around for last 12 days by auckland 4x4 trying to get small arb compressor, haven't even responded to phone messages left with office ringing the guy on his cell and text msg
They told me would be there in 2 days,12 days later no phone call email or text
Have spent thousands with them over the years and it seems as soon as I need something that's not over $300 they #### me around
Will never use them again!
Used arb dealer on the shore price little bit more but will be couriered overnight

Mate i havnt used ak4x4 for a dozen yrs now for same reason.
Unless they are making a grand profit off you, you are nobody.
Anyway the lads a mototech are way more helpful and put as much effort selling a $5.00 part as they do in selling a full suspention setup.

Bitch over....back to topic

the vx is looking good dude
