Land Access charges: $10 per vehicle, to be paid to Mark on the day.

BYO Drink
Dogs: Not Allowed
Alcohol: Not Allowed
Trip grade: 3-5 (0-wuss...5-anything goes)
Safety Requirements: Rated Towhooks, rated recovery strop, spade, fire extingisher, first aid kit
PRS Radio Ch 10

Note: It has been indicated by people that have been there in the past that vehicle damage is highly likely. This is NOT a shiney trip. However, Stinky will point those adverse to serious damage towards an easier option where available.

MIGHT have some cheap ferry tickets sorted, so if it all works out, I'll be there :D

will you have some space for a gearbox in your truck? its only a front wheel drive box, so its not huge.... :wink: oh and will you be passing thru nelson on your way up here...

At this stage I may be lacking room as I'm bringing gear over for the brothers.
Is the gearbox in Nelson?

Have paid for the tickets, so once the money clears I will book the sailing :D

$225 for a return sailing on the Interislander for car/2 adults 8)

Wacko, I'll be going down to Nelson and returning 3/4 March if you can wait that long. I'm getting the boat shipped back from Nelson to Wgtn and would be able to put it in that if you want.

heh...you could fit a whole suzuki in the back of the whale :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: ....a gearbox should easily fit in the gloveboz !!!

Just realise CCVC Club champs on the 11th and im up in the top 5 at the moment so wont be making this trip now.

I will be at the CCVC thing as well....I'm on BBQ duty......one of the obligations for looking after the BBQ.

I just saw this on the CCVC website... so unless someone knows better - and can justify it, we'll obey it too:

We have been asked by the property owners of Rallywoods not to use Wong Way or Turbo Bog tracks. Vehicles playing in Turbo Bog affect residents water supply and the land on which Wong Way sits is of disputed ownership.

Yip that rule has been around for years, those tracks are so overgrown now you probly wouldnt bother even if you were allowed on them.

Hopefully I will be there, will let you know tonight.
Probably head over in the morning and do red rocks or something on Saturday to keep myself entertained, and head back Monday.
