Yep twas only 5 hundy so I was happy with that. Engine needs a little tittivating, but probably only head off stuff. But I'm not worried either way, I'd like to whack a 3.8 in it, we'll see when I get it home.

Went out on sat to join the Wellington Xmas trip, had fun driving on sand for the first time, then as we were heading up the creek I managed to break my shock absorber mount, not so much fun, made for an interesting drive back (over the gate especially). Made it out ok, cut some new groves in my tyres from the frount right binding up in the guard. Good times

Well let me add to it ... Feel free to tell me if it's worth the time to read
What I did ... I found that you can go 22 km in a Bighorn after the fuel light comes on
You can not go 23 km however
I also found that if you should attempt to go 23km after the fuel light comes on you can spend a lot of time getting fuel back through to the injectors where it belongs
And it also upsets the wife when she has to come out in the rain and tow you home via a gas station
Though I noticed she did enjoy telling others about it the next day.

one of my best weekens ever.
had to work sat morn, then towed orange to welly for someone to look at, had drinks for turning 35 on sat nite, met a tyrekicker on sun to look at orange(keen as he said, but no ring back), job interview on monday turned into job offer, job taken, and on tuesday me and the wife decided our marriage was worth saving, so watch out welly boys here I come.
orange not sold yet, so rallywoods and the akas could be getting a hammering soon.
got up at 3am this morning to drive back to taupo for work.
so there ya have it
I'm quite pleased with my weekend, apart from being absolutely knackered now.

its a complex formula involving the mass and weight of Newbie, the angle of the hill, how much beer Skid has had, and what type of knot has been used. I would recommend that 86-surf oversea and certify the knots after the 2 hr safety lecture on tying hooks wearing his orange safety vest and hard hat.

Because it's VERY hard to turn WELD on and off on demand.

You can switch it off....just press the pedal thingy on the right and the the complex mixture of dodgy electronics and those turny bits and the string t will break both half shafts
