Tube rear end. Double triangulated 4 link, 15" Ranchos and 4" lifted 80 series rear coils.

Just finished cutting and cleaning up. It appears I didn't intend on the brackets coming off......... Ever!!!!! :roll:

You should get a job at Isuzu... I remember how much fun it was getting the IFS bracketry off the chassis rails on the MU... you'd fit right in there :lol:

So are you making these to order or just making a batch to put on the shelf.
Might need something like this to sort the rear axle on my rod. Actually when I get closer to that part of the build I think I'll just plan a visit and leave the chassis behind for you to "play with".


Sounds like a plan 8) This one is just a one off but its not too hard to make and the same idea could be applied to anything.

The whole set-up - Deck and suspension - at a guess will be around 4 - 5g.
The plan has changed slightly :roll: Its now getting 14" coilovers :mrgreen:

Ok so the plan changed :roll: 14" coilovers it is :mrgreen: and fox bump stop to go in there too, thats what the triangle bits on the diff are for :wink: Probably another 4-5m of tube to go in as well :D

Whats the deal with cutting the chassis off and using your own pipe to weld on, i take it is certifiable otherwise you would not be doing it.

what will a weekend 'get away' to wellignton cost including sorting my suspension to 80s vintage road handling.

its a vx80series that you have had a look over at tow bars when i was sortign the rear air line to locker..

It should be alright 8) There is still alot more strengthening to go in there yet.
