Any reason why ya didn't lower the tank to sit flush under rear deck and optimise rear deck space plus lower COG?

If I lowered the tank it would be too close to the maximum up travel. I've set it up with 7" of up travel.

Thats it fella  . 180 amps of Lincoln goodness. Man I love that mig
But to answer your question..... Yes thats it  Why would I need anything bigger? I very rarely have it over 160A.
However................ I do have a 200A DC Tig and if sh!t really hits the fan theres a 200A Arc too. Oh yeah, theres a gas set floating around as well
Got most of my bases covers but in all reality I very seldon weld anything thicker than 6mm MS :D
One thing that has made a huge difference tho is I got Andy (silver 106 Hilux) to re-wire the shed. Went from 16mm cable from the boundary box to 25mm. Also re-wired the plug for the welder to 6mm cabling insted of 3mm. That changed things in a big way 8)

Got my fingers crossed  . But the leaves work pretty well. Leaves - in my opinion - are better for carrying weight, which suits the front. Time will tell tho :D Starting to be not much Hilux left
