Sibainmud might be a wee bit busy but was txting him and said he has draglink done but there is still plenty to do, also it is abit more difficult doing stuff by yourself, how do you think he managed to get the gearbox done :D , but good things take time. Iam sure more pic's and an update will come soon.

I been forgetting my camera
Had Wednesday off and did the draglink conversion and replaced a couple tie rod ends
Time to put the front torsion bars in and get it back on 4 wheels so I can do a i-lignment. Picking up some radius bushes in the morning.
Pics to come.
Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

If you're alignments good and you need to replace a rod end or such, just dont jack it up off the ground. Wheels cant move = alignment doesn't change.

Ah thats not a bad idea! cheers, Only issue is if the tie rod had been bent, being the weak point in terranos, But i've only worn mine out, so it should work good for that. :D

eye lignment before the 100 meter drive to the first tire shop to put it on the machine.
I have had a look and there is at least 15mm of shims under the top control arm pivot, they won't last the first trip without being spat out
I will be replacing the shims with washers and will have to skim a couple down for fine adjustments.
Lots of pics to post tonight.

Had half of Monday and all of Tuesday off work so spent some good uninterrupted time working on the truck.
So, to add to the completed list;
EGR removed and ports plated off,
EGT thermocouple installed,
Handbrake mounts modified for body lift,
Torsion bars in (just need adjusting),
Turbo dump pipe and 2/3rds of the exhaust fitted,
70% of body lift done (just need the blocks made and installed), this included extending the steering shaft too.

Forgot camera again, so sorry no pics.

Had a little free time this arvo, so I made 10 of these.
Thanks uwshho for the steel.
With some 10-13mm nylon as insulators, total lift will be 60-63mm

Good progress today. T1 nearly stripped out. T2 turn key. Got lots more to do to T2 before it hits the tracks.
I think I have retired T1 just in time. The whole front from the firewall forward is parting ways with the rest of the body  I knew it was bad but not this bad :?

Check this out,

Made a huge mess but all will be cleaned up and shipped off to storage by move-out time (Sunday 28th @ 4pm)

Got the windscreen and large quater windows out today and in one piece.
Used 2 utility knife blades and the old hand throttle cable to get the job done.
That's 2 full sets of glass I have spare now.

Well, another day off work today. Gotta love 4 1/2 day weekends
So, ripped all the redundant stuff out of the engine bay. Made the headlight squirt-er bottle and pump into the windscreen washer for 2 reasons, better flow and pressure pump and i have removed the original windscreen bottle to make way for the snorkel piping.
T2 came with the exact same towbar that T1 has, so I cut the towball tongue off one and have mounted it forward 75mm so now the tube that the tongue was attached to is now the fuel tank protection. I have planed out the rear bar and recovery hooks but will need to bobtail chassis rails by 60mm or so to make it look right and trimming the departure angle slightly of course. The spare towbar will be handy if needed and can be interchanged with the chopped one with 10 bolts. To make all this work I had to cut both the factory tie-down eyes off the chassis and grind all the welds off to make it look original. Sorry no pics (camera still hooked to USB cable at home  ) but will post some at a later stage.
And that was my day.
Cheers,
