If it really concerns folks as to which one of the group of kindergarten kids gets in power, then its relatively simple to cast a vote before the weekend

LOL, my prediction is John ends up with more toys than Phil!!!

There should be two entries coming from the Levin club as well - unsure what they are waiting on or what we are waiting on but I have been informed that they are entering.
One in Outlaw and one in Club I think....

We are running the 2012 and I have checked this with Dave Brown and he said it was ok, so rest assured you can run Mike!

First up, let me say that I dont care if you let him run his rear mounted radiator, I know that the rules are different down there for them.
But W.T.F. is 4x4 challenges doing changing the rules halfway through the season?
There has been no change to the challenge class rules for next year to allow them to run, and there is no need to as you already have two classes that allow them in.
Norwest are going out on their own to let them into challenge for there comp, i.e. its not a offical rule change?
Hell, if you gonna change that, you could change your rollcage rules, the tyre size rule, all the rules.
Shit, you might as well just make it all one class again?
Its the beginning of the end for winch challenges
Rant over

Let's clear the air a little.
4x4 Challenges does not change rules without going through a well planned process which includes full input from it's members.
The competition rules draft for 2012 has been over a year in the planning and it has recently been posted at
http://www.4x4challenges.org.nz to allow for further feedback. We very successfully ran with those rules at Manukau. There will be a meeting soon to ratify them for 2012.
We know that SI and NI have different class rules especially in the areas of roll cages and radiator placement. In order to enable a competition between us, it was decided that as those differences were not huge, it would be appropriate to allow some relaxation of rules for this event. That decision was only made after discussion with both NI and SI people.

to me its more of a nz winch comp
so a bit of give and take between north and south island rules
is all you can do for a real NZ comp

Welcome to the world of NZ winch challenges.
They'll all be ringing each other up to find out who's going and whether it's worth going depending on who said they might be going.
Is all motorsport like this???

used to race motocross, people line up to go, as if not supported then will not be on.
late entry fees wre charged, and series discounts given, if more than 3 rounds entered and a deposit paid.

Not long now!! only two weekends away....
Things are looking good track wise with only a few small areas that need a tidy up. We are hoping for the push this weekend to have them all cleared, so ANY assistance we can get is great.
Thank to those that have paid their entry fee, for those that haven't please remember to pay your entry fee by TODAY

, I don't really want to be walking around with cash in my pocket all weekend.
Cheers

if half of the other class entries end up being non-compliant for the class they entered then you could have a whole heap of folks in your class Pete
