Repco have the better product range, I've stopped buying towballs from Supercheap...the shaft sizes are never the right size, bought some new H4 bulbs recently, the ones at supercheap looked a bit iffy, the brands I'd never heard of...Repco had a nice set of Narva +50's for not much more...

whilst I'm there the daihatsu seems to eat and kill the supercheap coolant, have just now put some repco stuff in seems ok...

Supercheap is ok if you are after certain things, name brand polish, they have interesting stuff such as OEM screws and clips....love the $3.99 matt black spraypaint too...use that often

What goes on with the coolant Jerry? I thought so long as it stayed green and in the radiator it was ok?

The supercheap coolant must be made in a low tech shed in outermonglia, have heard of other people having problems with it....when I got it the coolant was a very dark brown and sticky......new water system now and yes its green

Never paid much attention to what coolant I've ever used... usually prestone or something that sounds like that, the last 2 trucks have always stayed green so I havent ever worried about it. The guy at Petone radiators told me I should change it every year coz the anti corrosion stuff wears out or neutralises or something like that?

Paid last week...... now I really really need a coffee maker for when I find out the price of a new Mitsubishi Diff air locker....

by mudchuka
ya shoulda bought a nissan glen.... they dont break things.... just kidding . what happened to the diff? too much power for it? or design fault?

by NJV6
If I bought a Nissan then I might be just like you and make silly comments all the time!

Na, seriously, I put the locker breaking down to not enough air pressure. They are a strong unit but I suspect it was not meshed properly and it is now properly mashed. The light on the dash did give a flicker moments before it went BANG indicating it was not in. At $AUS2021 I am going to stay open diffed for a while longer....

You could always sell your house :? .

I'm sure a complete ARB air locker is a heap cheaper than that. Been told around $1500NZ.

Yea they don't do an ARB for the rear. Shame really. The ozzy's fella's tell me hopefully by the end of the year......
