No cellphone coverage out there.....
Ok rang Terewhiti, they advise me that the creek part including the bowl is their land, the guy suggested that the GPS maps may not be correct....he also said often there are pig hunters in that area so having a 4wd crashing thru the bush may not be a good thing....I asked about getting access up there but didn't push it as he seemed rather annoyed about idiots going up there with out permission, to be fair he did point out that terewhiti has been really good to 4wd'ers etc over the years and they didn't have to do it.
So basically its not confirmed yet, I wouldn't suggest we go in there.....I don't want to be explaining to other local clubs why we lost access for them (if we did and he turned round and said stuff you)
I have made a booking for terewhiti for the 26th for ORE, I will put up another thread about this.
Re when its closing for the wind thingy, no set date yet...it will be when Meridian say so.....

Mrs Husain has granted permission
Mrtripleader or your assistant, have you got a couple of heavy trucks confirmed so we dont have to rely on a couple of little handbags to try and extract my 10 ton cruiser when it gets burried up to its door handles in sand

Whilst arround Red Rocks you are only allowed on the track and to the Seaward side of the track. No climbing the Dunes etc as this damages the fragile Grasses that are being regenerated there.
