Hi Coxsy Sounds like you guys made the right call if you were worried about dropping a truck over the bank,I dont know if were talking about the same slip but when we went through both ways on Wed the only slip that we came across was from the Te Araha side about 20 mins down from the start of the trackat the summit it was on a left hand corner and you had to winch half way wait for the back of the truck to slide down into the slip and then winch out of it,It was before the rock wall going from Te Aroha through to Katikati ..Steve

Sounds like the same slip, the only wagon that can get passed without droping a back wheel in is a suzuki or similar. But if you got big hairy ones and dont mind pulling the seat cover out of your crack it aint to bad.

hey scrambed, sorry mate but that go hard or go home attitude sucks,we had the trucks that are set up for that type of situation,Both wayne and i have done advanced recovery courses and had our trucks in worse conditions many times before, its that go hard or go home attitude that gives 4wding a bad name...My thoughts...Steve
Ps Without exception every time weve been on a run with people with that type of attitude its turned to crap and weve spent most of the day either fixing trucks or recovering them ,,wheres the fun in that?
