theres a problem with that. I will be in the bush at Rerewhaakaitiu doing a dummy run for the bush bash.
reading all this makes me wish I was going to the drags, if not to compete, but to watch the boat racing.

you may have to explain the Sleave of Wizard here and now !!

Sorry guys but project has come to a grinding holt.

Have been flat out renovating at home - building 2 new rooms and a garage! Good news is once finished I`m bringing the truck home to finish in record time.

Getting married in Feb so want to have it finished before then.

Next move... Truck is going back to PMW to lower the engine. Sitting too high at the moment which just wouldn`t be sideling or cornering at speed friendly

Rhino coating interior - got wiring loom from parts truck to go in and will probabily take the fibreglass guards and bonnet off the brown truck since that is busted at the moment. Then off to the sparky.

Got a new steering wheel and boss kit of TM which looks sweet. Also been to Pioneer Auto Parts to pick up a new fuel pump ($250) which is good to 500Hp!

Will get you guys some progress pics and a start up Vid soon hopefully.

OK, a wet Sunday gave me time with the truck so here goes...

Before:

And after:

This Hipo Liner stuff is awesome. You get a great texture with the roller - just dont get any on yourself cause even turps doesnt get it off

Image

Have done the wheel arch trim to. I've moved the rear diff back so have just cut out about 200mm from the rear in the same shape as the original arch. Have come down in front of the corner as I wanted to keep the classic cruiser look. There is pleantly of room for the 36" Swampers now  (just need some rims).

Was about $100 from Super Cheap. I`ll be getting another pack to do inside the engine bay and for touch ups.

OK, picked up some 15" x 10" rims off Trademe. They were second hand but had been sandblasted and powder coated black.

Took them down to shop and had the 36" x 12.5" swampers fitted and balanced. Look real nice on the 10 inch rims.

Progres is slow at moment.

I bet he took them to the shop and they attempted to balance them when he wasn't there. I have tried to balance heaps of large 4wd tyres to rims and its just not worth it. 300-400 grams of weight looks like shite on a 4wd.

my beadlocked rims aren't balanced, and they are fine at 100kph plus on the road.

Didn`t cost any extra to balance so I said why not.

Fited tubes to all rims plus poor mans beadlock so should be all good.
