Awesome day out thanks to the rain and the sth waikato boys!!!!!

I reckon go by classes too

Got some kool vids of Furgus to post aswell :D :D

The 50 went hard all day untill the last hazard when it was half way through a 3rd gear drift and died. I hardly even had a chance to get my harnesses off before one of the other guys in the group jumped in his truck skidded over and hooked a rope up and towed me round the rest of the course to the finish pegs so i didn't DNF. That made my day, what awesome sportsman ship 8) 8)

(turns out my fuel tank doesn't have a vented cap like i thought  . There was so much vacum i couldn't get the cap off for a couple of mins, once i got it off it started up again fine. Dumb ass
 )

Interesting, just compared some of my times with the other ORE guys. Seems as the afternoon wore on and the hazards got more and more cut up, the skid and Ben in the heavier trucks struggled. Thats probably also due to the fact that mine and Furgus's group did hazards 10-20 before lunch on slightly fresher ground, and the rest after lunch, where as the other groups that Ben and Skid were in did 10 - 20 later in the day when the hazards were really cut up.

Another funny thing is lookin at Furgus's results, you can pin point when it started to rain in the morning

I have been through and circled the hazards The 50 beat Rex, Ben, Skid and Furgus on just to make me look kool and so's all yous fulla's don't think i'm a stink awwwl

I also take first prize for being the slowest on hazard 16 8) 8)

I think driving a little more sedately rather than sitting on the rev limiter all day may of bettered the times. 20 seconds per peg flattened didnt help (Hazard 4 for me   ) Just couldnt help yourself in those conditions 8)

Ok this is two of the in car vid's from lilpig . getting better but once compressed you can't see the rev counter , not that you need to as it was either at ilde or sitting on the limiter .

And another

http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/images/ ... circle.wmv

They are 8mb and 4 mb each so expect a slow download . I usually compress them more but they are just crap .

Of all the cars I watched you were drifting the vitara the widest spanky and boy no surprise when the hose blew , you were giving it the berries on that hazard for ages :0 .

Also there was a blue double cab hi lux in our group with a lexus in it . by lunchtime the guy had it sorted and could skid that around very nicely . On hazard 20 , the three times loop , he had it set nicely with what seemed like constant throttle in a continious slide . very cool .

If Rex nags I will post some more but they are all from in car etc .

Also the first video I posted and the one from Wopass is the same hazard , give you a better perspective
