the very same day I tell my boss that I won't be needing time off either side of this weekend for the Whangarei Trial, is the same day my Driver tells me he's finished building the truk and we're going way up north.

at least I'll be wheeling still

Wheres the course at this year? Last year it was on the farm just behind morningside (morningside for life!!), right at the first lights coming into town.... same spot this year?

Itl be pretty much the same as last year, a few hazards marked out on the hills, drains and gullys, with the compulsary swamp run.

Probably have to donate some time to building a bonfire as we had a good one on Nov 5th and theres nothin left other than a big black circle of ash .

An idea i have been toying with was getting a porta loo or something so we don't have everyone trecking in and out of the house all day long?? Kind of a curtesy (sp?) thing ya know.........

Heaps of room for camping, just depends on the weather as to where we will set up. Probably out the back some where so we can create as much carnage as we like with out disturbing anyone.

Basically just rock up on Sat morning around 9am ish, and we'l take it from there.

I would like to come allong to this shindig,, I wont be bringing my offroad truck though as Im shifting house about then , so Ill just come along for the camping and git togrther with you lot for a beer and burn some steak on the bbq . if there is a spare seat in someones truck Ill be in.. well we have had a bit of a skid around at the venue and have a few hazards in mind...one of which might tip you over if your not carefull

i drove it so its not impossible :wink:

and the swamp is looking very good

and its not impossible to get accross, both pete and i made it over and back

no photos as we dont want to ruin the surprise
