Merc has decided that an S300 is the way to go for the G-Wagen. Fortunately for me that leaves this:

3500cc of good German OHC aluminium!! Pretty sure there won't be any kits for that conversion handy. :) But that's OK we'll figure it out .... Anyone know where I can find wrecked G-Wagen! I need Lockers.... and a transfer case would be handy too. :)

actually it is cast iron alloy heads i think
my 4wd is not a truck

old mercedes never die but sometimes they do need some love

older cars are good,mercedes are better,older mercedes are the best

Oh bugger, oh well more weight to keep it from doing wheelstands. Is it the 380 that's the all alloy, or the 420? Now that would boogy, I'm sure I saw a 420 in Steves yard! :)
