any one here have a spare passanger side mirrow or a speedo cable for a bj70?

in welly would be great, need them to get a Wof.

I didnt think you need wing mirrors for wof only rear view mirror

I think I might have a couple of old 40# speedo cables which should be the same as your one, I'll try and have a look for you tomorrow night.

If you replace your wing mirror only stick a genuine toyota one on coz those cheap taiwanese copys only last as long as your next trip into the scrub

can you whack up a close pic of the mirror

I have a couple still up in taupo I think . but I found them to be different that other 70s

I found the speedo cable I had but I think its buggared, the cable is siezed inside the sheathing and i can only see one end of the cable sticking out?

Is the mirror mount itself broken or just the glass?? Easy to cut a new glass if need be, only difference is that it wont be curved like the original. Way cheaper than getting a whole mirror.

Think you'll have a differant end [ speedo end] between the 40s and 70s, 40s screws on, 70s clicks in.

Is it just the circlip that has let go, if so then you can fit it all back togeather, I could show a pix of my speacial tool that I made to do just this.

my speedo end screws in...

theres 3 little ball bearings that hold the mirror to the mount, and when it came out it threaded itself,so i need a new mount as well.
