Re: GQ cert
Mine is certed and has 2" body and suspension lifts, reinforced panhard rod, not adjustable, that's just crap, never heard of it before. Also has reinforced lower swing arms, no problems there eihter. I think the guy down there is going over the top a little. Take the sway bar off, mine is certed for it off, that way you won't have to lower it. maybe he's a toyota man

Re: GQ cert
peret watson ib balclutha is a good cert guy for 4wds
Re: GQ cert
Depends on how uneven the diffs are (how much further they stick out on one side) so it may not be the fact the panhards aren't adjustable, just they don't suit the lift.
I too would remove the swaybars.

Re: GQ cert
Mine is certed with 75mm and standard panhards. At 50mm there would be virtually no difference. As for the restof it....
Brake hoses. Take the back and fit to the front then get a longer hose for the rear. I think it is off a Minstral or Terrano II or something like that. Should cost about $100 tops. Or get a braided ones made so thy are certed at the same time. Do the lines get tight when jacked up? If not, then what is te problem. You normally only need to do brake lines on a 3"+ lift, but that depnds on shock length. ie if shoks are more than 50mm longer than standard then brake lines need doing.
Exhaust is a tough one as it is still a standard motor and you've made it louder. Mine is certed with VH45, 3" to the turbo, 2" dump from waste gate all joining at a 4" coby that exits through a 4" pipe. It is quite loud and no worries, so just fit a turbo and then it is a modified engine and noise rules are stufed.
For the swaybars, I think he is full of shite. I ran mine with a 50mm lift and the rear sway bar for about 3 years before taking it off, and had no drama's. The links are fine and all they do is restrict wheel travel so what is the problem from his point.
The easy solution is find a different engineer as this guy sounds like a problem.

Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.
Re: GQ cert
hi the diffs are 5-6mm over to one side, brake lines are not tight,.It is standard 4.2 non turbo free flows & 2.5 inch pipe i would n"t class it as loud, might have to go though to chch to get it done, Who is a good certifier up there? names &ph nubers would be good . cheers tim

Yep Rick is the man for mods but Don Hoff and Wayne are the only two cert dudes in ChCh and Don is more Hot Rod orientated.
