rock sliders side protection bars

Hi again guy's does any one have any pics of sliders for a 70 series mwb? will be going to Whirinaki over easter and due to damage done last year I need to up grade my side bars, as mine are stainless I cannot add to them as I cannot tig so will be building new ones from steel, any advise on thickness of tube wall? was thinking 3mm but don't want them to end up to heavy. what do you lads and ladies have? cheers
