Re: 4age into a 413
how much room do you have, i had to cut the drive shaft and weld the 2 universals back to back as i only had 130mm in between them, dont know if that would work for you but has done the trick for me.

oh ok.
yea dont have enough room to do that, i can get one in there but i have talkd to some people and they said i could run one but the bearings in the box wont last long.
I might have to move the motor forward a bit.
thanks mate

I got one (not going yet cos of wiring grrrr...) that was in a 413 when i purchased it...
Motor has been moved forward (has had to cut stock bonnet latch out) with custom radiator. Very short shaft between gearbox and transfer. Think the gearbox/hosuing is a T50 maybe??
PM me your email and i'll send you a writeup Clint did a while back when he did it (or join the yahoo nzook group and its on there under files)...
Cheers

Hey Shane
When i was looking at this conversion most of the people recomended using the T50 gearbox. Some of the k and t series boxes can have the rear housing removed and replaced with a shorter one to help with lenght issues ( I also belive it puts the gear leaver back in the original hole)
more info here http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/phpBB2/vi ... +gearboxes
When i looked at a 4aged zuk for Mr O it had just 2 UJs welded back to back and it seemed to work fine but it was very close.

Just out of interest why are you going with the 4age? have you already got the motor? seems like in general people are favouring towards the G16 motors these days which is a simple swap
