GU coil lengths

Post by DaveM »

Going to put my old dobinson coils in my GU, from memory left and right coils are different lengths, can anyone confirm this, and tell me which way round they go?

Cheers,
Dave

C45 104 is front drivers side on mine, thats a 65mm lift spring, they are brand new dobinsons, trying to get numbers from the rest but a bit difficult

C45 103 is rear drivers side...

I don't suppose you can remember which coils were longer? left or right side are 5mm or so longer than the other, think its the drivers side should be longer.

definatly drivers side is LONGER without any doubt, to allow for constant drivers weight.

Right hand side is longest, by about 15mm.
