Hello everyone

Ive got a lux running a toymoter V8 with a lift and diff change, Im finding that its got the power but not the breaks to go with it as its drums front and back so after looking around Ive seen that converting is possible but just neede some help/guidnce as Ive got no clue when it come to Modification of this style. Ive got 15x12 rims with 15x12x33in rubber so want to go as big as possible. Any suggestions? Ive got to pull front diff apart and change the diff to match the back and replace all the seals and bearings so then would be the best time so i want to get preped or help organsied (if anyone keen to help).

Im not wanting to widen the footprint of the ute as its mainly a streeter with the odd stint in the bush or on the farm. Im going to be pulling a decent sized trailor thas the reason for wanting better breaks as drums are useless. Its been a while but if i remember correctly my fronts are drums as well so Ill be going from scratch.

Thanks for everyones help so far.

if its a beam axel lux it will be disk front, but they are solid, half the thing with the wide axel is you use vented 60 series disks in the front getting better breaking and ya use the old front disks on the back

You can just use 60 series discs and calipers in the front without widening it. I think de-ranged may possibly sell a disc conversion bracket?
