The D.B-Satilite family will be showing us the local tracks ( no trailered trucks ) drive in 1 end and out the other. I will post the cut off date for bookings soon.

How about we do a 25% discount across the board on room rates. Our usual rates are:

Fun filled weekend :D

Vehicles should preferably be set up for wading/river crossings. Minimum requirement will be a wading blind that covers the full front end of the vehicle including head lights if you don't have a snorkle. (Warehouse Tarp and a couple of bungy cords  )

(Tony, fix the air box on Shell's Terrano properly !!!!)

If your expecting a highly organised and structured weekend, stay home

EDIT: Due to the potential "spying" issues associated with public forums in general, PM me if your interested in coming and i will flick you details of what the rough intinerary is :D

Like I said in the second post of the thread Mark:

DieselBoy wrote:Due to the potential "spying" issues associated with public forums in general, PM me if your interested in coming and i will flick you details of what the rough intinerary is :D

What i meant by that, is that if you are interested on coming along on the trip and would like to know what tracks we will be doing, where they are, and what days we will be doing these tracks, SEND ME A PM

That way or plans are not out in the public arena. Out of site, out of mind is the best way to be these days 8)

Hey all, I'm trying to gage wat people want to do as far as accomodation so i'm gonna run a Q n A .

Pete and Sara mentioned camping a night, so what night will we camp and is everyone camping or just some? and are some people not keen to camp and are some not keen to stay in the motel?

The reason i wanted to do this trip was to review the lodge so if as a group we could all stay in the lodge at least one night and drink it up in the bar etc that would be cool I'd like feed back from all of you on how you find it etc.

our Hosts are mad keen campers so I think it would be cool to do that aswell. but I think it would be nice if we do stay as a group instead of seperating to much. please let me know asap about accomodation so i can book it in i'll need first and last names and wat nights you want to stay. I will be driving up from welly on friday so should be up by early evening.

I'll be a starter Shell, but due to budget restraints, ill have to opt for tenting it. I'll look at tracking down on the Thursday arvo, and heading back on the Saturday arvo/evening. Or failing that, head down at sparrows on the Friday instead.

(ps. . . the bosses were happy about the little plugs for Hirequip in the latest article - cheers)

hey guys another option for those that didn't want bling bling rooms at the park lodge they have offered us bunks which are normally $30 per person per night but for us they are $24 per person per night. there are 6 bunks in a room and the room has a fridge and an en-suit which for you guys is a TOILET lol , there is a huge shared kitchen aswell. so if anyone wants to bunk let me know so far there are only a hand full of couples staying at the logde. ( don't forget they have a resturant and bar!!!!!!!!! so if you stay you don't have to get a sober driver you can get drunk and crawl to your bunk!!)

This has nothing what so ever to do with the O.R.E Association. (hence the reason for it to be on this forum)

We will most certainly not be publishing any thing for any one in relation to it. Especially not in some unrelated 4WD clubs news letter.

END OF THIS LINE OF DISSCUSSION :x
