the rules have not changed much for last year. As for the rollcage rules we are not using them. All you need to enter as a big boy class is a rollbar.also a current wof rego and a modified plates.all else fails you put on 33 inch tyres and run in clubmans class they are the same stages as big boys

Al, well done for running the event.
We have heard it all to often, we'll enter the next one, my trucks not ready, entries closed too quick.....
It was noted a loong time ago when this event was going to be.
This challenge is a great 'entry level' where people have a lot of fun, basically get to drive hard if you wish, play in mud, rip up someone else's paddock, use your winch etc. To those that were considering entering, you would not have regretted it, you'll learn alot. All the rules are clearly explained before the event, to the point someone who is green but had their head screwed on could do well. There is not people jeering at how poorly you did, but a lot of laughs and people helping people so that most people come away pretty happy and keen to have another go.
Karam, If you can't do this one, the rest will be good practice for next year and it'll get a chance to use your truck....
See you there
Glen

Takatimu is the first round of six. To be into win you can drop one round and still have a shot. Competing is always great practise.

Cheers for your surport Glen.It is not an easy thing to organize but it worth it when you see the mud fly on the leave of the drivers and winchperson grow throughout the day. smiles grow bigger and bigger as the day goes on.
Have you had much luck getting any marshals?
Are you still comming bruce?

Hello 4wders
The Takitimu winch challenge that was held on the 15th march was a great day for the drivers and winchpersons and all who were envolved with the day. HUGE thanks to those who helped us. For those of you who were asking about the QUE TV it is aired on 27th march 2008 at 5.30 then again at 9.00 on channel 110 sky.
