2 barrel holley carb wanted

2 barrel holley wanted for my old cruiser, anybody have one lying around that wants to part with :?:

i think 350cfm is the good one for the cruisers, :?:

makes them go moocho beter :twisted:

try a cater rather than a holley as these WILL flow out of the vent tubes when on a slight angle causing fuel to run into valley then onto manifold then .......... seen this happen twice now and both have had holley off road kits fitted. Let me know if you go ahead with this idea so I can bring steaks for the bonnet BBQ plate. :lol:

Holden v8 carb???? I use one with my turbo'd Trans Am no problems but then I try not to go off roading in it.

Hi don't get me wrong, its just in my opinon that Holley carbs are not suitable for off roaduse. The fuel tends to over come the float bowel vents and pour out.I think that the needle valve is easily fooled into thinking that bowel is empty because of the angles its on and lets more fuel in. and the exess flows out the vents on to a hot exhast system. Thats when the real fun begins!!! I suggest a Carter carb as they dont have the same venting system therefore not prone to this problem. Carters and rockchester Carbs are very easy to work on and parts are not to bad to find ( Repco, Auto 1, all carb shops) and are not as tempermental as Holleys DONT take my word for this ring a carb shop, there is 2 or 3 very good ones in Hamilton. Holleys have their place and in the right enveroment are very good. For 4wding its hard to beat EFI but it's $$$$$$$ thing
