how muck can it handle

Post by zookfest »

I running an injected 1300 jimney in my 84 410 it has a link computer, extractors and a ground cam.Im wanting to get a little more snot out of it but am wondering how much power the running gear can handle

Has the 413 gear box and 410 transfer
Vitara diffs
and standard 413 axels

how far can these be pushed :?:

Im blowing rear drive shafts left right and centre and im only running the 410 1000cc motor  ....what size tyres do you run and do you tend do thrash it alot....i'd say the 413 axles and cv's are going to be your weakest point but then again theres alot of people running 1600's with 413 running gear and they go sweet

Holey heck!!! I think you might want to look into importing something like these

This actually isnt going to be the best option for you as the drive shafts and the diff heads are now going to be the weakest point. I think you may need to look into doing a hilux diff conversion or similar.....or just the the bloody thing alone

Depends on your driving style. Never broke any 410 running gear with a G13B, and have only recently gone up to 413 running gear so can push a little bit harder. But its all about knowing when too back off. Seen others with less power do lots more damage than me and I dont baby mine
