It appears Honda don't think people should have older bikes so parts are hard to get. I have a 1995ish XR250 and just been told of a header pipe $450 ex Japan.

Are there any dirt bikers here that get bits like this? Where would be a good source?

if you are looking for headers and exhausts try cycleworks in taita (lower hutt) he makes his own and does a nice job

MLB manufacturing, trade as Musket Mufflers are bound to have them, I can supply their stuff through work if you are interested.

Yes I got a musket for about that price and found a neat place in INvercargill called Bike Bits with a very usefull chap.
