we going to try thompsons track next weekend 3 4wds we never been up it yet any pointers , is the track sweet at the moment, any one else keen to come up

There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

The track is closed from 14th-18th March, might pay to check its open before heading over there,

according to Skiddys link, its actually closed this weekend, Matamata-piako DC ar taking machines up there, putting in culvets etc. Rock on up with us if you want, sounds like the track will be a breeze. theres other places to have fun up there too.
