truck was found at 5 to 10 by the cops burnt out on ruru road, wheels and headunit stolen.

No they were MTR's with heaps of tread on them. 33x12.5 x15. Hope it was insured.

Got told by the guys at ace 4wd that wheels are getting stolen to order now. So keep em tight and if you catch em in the act then god have mercy is all i can say.

I think it would be more they see you drive past and follow you. If they got on here then maybe they would realise there are a lot of farked off people who wouldnt take kindly to getting their shit stolen.

a mates surf was stolen from palmy 5 or so years ago one afternoon, it had all the bells and whistles and was found up behind taupo the next day, they say it had been put into a truck and cut up and stripped on the trip up there in the back of the truck and it was just the shell found

Yeah, good point Mike, and the cop's won't do much about it, and if they do there is stuff all can be done with the little fu@#$rs when they get to court, if they ever do. And people/Police wonder why the victims take matters into their own hands.....like the guy up north that rammed the car driven by the guys who stole his groceries and wallet, if I recall correctly.

That sux as it was a very tidy safari to. If we can get a full description of the tyres including rims ie brand and size would be easier to keep an eye out for them.

33x12.5x15 good year wranglers on white 8 spokes if my memory treats me right...and if it does they aren't anything 'real' special so will be hard to prove anything

Might be time to get out the metal stamps and start putting identifying marks on your wheels. soldering iron to melt something into the tyres that way you can easily check.
