I have a HJ60 Landcruiser and for no apperant reason now after about 30 - 40 mins of driving the fuel and water temp neddles rise to point straight up.
Is this and indocater for somthing or some fault.

I would suspect a wiring fault, but I can't find anything googling :( ... any auto lecy's wanna comment?

sounds like a short to earth in the wiring from your guages to the firewall, pull the gauge cluster out and follow back along the loom checking the surface / should look like exposed wires or somthing worn through, could also be the gauge cluster? see if theres any carbon on the back, also check no exposes steel is touching the back of the gauges

Thanks guys but got it figured out.. It was the conections to the fuel gauge that needed a clean. Thanks again :D
