80 series Springs in gq?

Post by BEAUTGQ »

the front coils in my swb gq have sagged big time in the last year since i have put them in the back has held up well though. they are quite a heavy duty spring build wise so wouldnt mind getting the front reset. they dont even remail capitve anymore. ive heard that standard 80 series springs fit straight in the gq's giveing around a 3inch lift on the shortys is this true? just as a short term thing while i get springs reset.

I'd buy new springs instead of spending money on the old ones.

Think he means the front have sagged but the rears are ok

Theres fark all around though. I've been trying to keep an eye out for some on trademe after reading an old thread on here. Managed to find lifted coils for the 80 but no factory.

yea the springs ive put in are after market for a gq cant remember brand but are red in colour and were meant to give 65mm lift which they did but front have sagged and rear are still allgood. so want a replacement for front. the shocks ive got are raw 4x4. they seem good so far. just the front springs that are giving me greif.
