Hi guys I'm looking to put a 186 motor into my series 3 .my question is do the series 2 bellhousing share the same pattern as the series 3?.The original motor is the 2.25 liter motor it seems to go well but not really touqey enough.
Will there be any prob that I will encounter it also comes with landy engine mounts.
Any help will be great

4cyl series 2 and series 3 gearboxes are the same pattern, so, as long as the adapter plate is for the 4cyl gearbox it will fit. Don't know about the mounts
