BJ40 wont turn off

Hey all, just brought a Bj40 and it wont turn off, im having to stall the truck to make it. Any suggestions on what it might be? thanks :)

Im a newbie, first FWD. :) cheers.

they have an edic device that shuts off the fuel flow to the engine..sounds like it is faulty..it works a metal rod to the injector pump it should move the rod when you shut it off..does that make sense.. :oops:Check this out

yup found it, the rod is stiff. i can move the rod to turn the truck off with a little bit of force, is ther a way to adjust it somehow to make it work ?

they have to move three ways fully forward middle and back i would try to disconnect the rod from the solenoid unit and see if its the rod or the unit then go from there .. if its the rod i would just try to lube it up with crc or somethig similar if its the unit i dont know
