Tracta is avaliable on sunday only so was thinking if there were other people in the same boat then we maybe hold a smaller class on the sunday in the green hut whilst the rest of us are playing in Rallywoods??

Ok just had a look at all the trips coming up, June looks clear, have put a poll up so please vote and let me know what weekend(s) suit.

FYI Mike will be providing the training, I am just organising the venues and probably will be on coffee duty and stuff

Overnight accomodation is avaliable at Rallywoods and possibly elsewhere for those that need it. Plan is to have a booze up etc at rallywoods on Sat night after the training, which allows going for a drive on the Sunday (seats can be provided for those that want it / shiny trucks)

Access charges for Rallywoods will apply.

Will see if Katarina is interested. She has done enough trips now and I might as well see if she can destroy my truck as well as everything else
Actually guys, she is a damn good driver, just needs more practise off-road

dont change to many plans for me, I am happy to wait and do one later on in the year ( or early next year). the landie will be undergoing a rebuild and repower (hopefully) shortly anyways. I could still use the terrano for the training/playing in the mud though.

I'm up for it for sure. Any weekend works for me (the advantage of not really knowing anyone yet!)

the 80 will be easy to thrash as its still only 2wd and if you can get the 40 out there and get it to engage any gear, then you can thrash the shit outta that too if you like

Ok so how bout we set a date for this is the 14th & 15th of June ok with everyone?

we need a minimum of 10 , we have 6 so far

REMEMBER THIS COURSE IS FREE
if we don't get enough people then I will be shifting the date a month or 2 onwards until we get the required number.

Its an optional overnighter as well so stay the night and have a beer etc (responsible drinking etc) have a drive the next day if you want, seats can be provided if you want, all those that have done this course are welcome to come up and stay the night as well etc.

Not often Mike comes up so its a good chance to meet him etc.

Those that have clicked on the poll that are doing it please advise on here, we have SKID so far, who else?

just had a thought about the upcoming course....does anyone have a softcopy of the 4wd handbook thats used onthe course as it would have helped us heaps to have been able to read it beforehand.

Copyright issues I think, an alternative would be to get the books early for some pre reading, would this be possible Mike?

The place i do the courses for has pulled the books as they cost to much now to subsidise. Apparently you can buy them for $29 but i'm not sure people will.

There should still be enough books around Wellington from the last course to pool them together for this course if there needed?
