Hi guys, another newbie question. i have a 91 hilux surf 2.4turbo d. has had a +2 inch spings and shocks in the back and the torsion bars screwed up at the front to match. i currently have 30x9.5 15 tyres on and would like to go bigger. would like 31's or 32's in there to help get the diff up a litlle. How big can i go without any further mods or what else needs to be done to get these tyres in??
ALSO
as this is my daily driver and will be doing a lot of heavy towing over the summer how badly would bigger tires effect this??
ie.. need more power to turn bigger tire so would stall alot with big trailer on.
Any help would be great thanks,
macca

Bigger tyres= final gear ratio differances,
you should be able to fit 33's on there with the amount of work you have done already, depending on your rim offset etc, so 31's will fit fine.
If you go the max, you WILL have a lot less power towing and then you have to look at diff swaps etc,
if you don't need big tyres for what you are doing keep as close to original size as you can, otherwise it will cost$$ or have no power
