New springs need time to settle from initial height. Most would settle a little as they are used (and flexed). Also, when you start loading your gear and armour, it settles them also.

How high are they from what you want?

mine dropped about an inch over the following few weeks after i had mine reset, a ton of firewood in the back and a quick strop across a couple of bumpy paddocks soon sorted it out to :P

picked up "ORANGE" from my mates place where its been stored and brought it home to my place.

will be easier to sell if I can show people rather than have to travel an hour to see it.

will also be able to tinker with it on weekends now and fix those nagging issues that it has.

Extracted the pink milky oily stuff out of my transfer case and replaced it with some nice deep red oily stuff. Removed grey metallic oily stuff out of my rear diff, and replaced it with oily stuff that didnt resemble grinding paste. Greased the suspension, and then, after much deliberating, managed to coerce Wopass into wiring up my spotlights, cause I got not a clue with much when it comes to electricity. There was lots of muttering about "weird Jeep shit" followed by head shaking... dunno what that was about, but the spotties work!

Yesterday went to cut some fire wood for a mate who's just moved to the area, on the way out one of the old retreads decided to give up the ghost and throw its tread so I put on the spare which on inspection didn't look too good, but its not far and what could go wrong? Filled the trailer holds about 2m3 and then when I was just about home (the last cattle stop) the spare tyre decided to quit.
went back out this morning with a colection of wheels from around the place and after a couple of hours managed to get it back home.
Going to town tommorrow so I think I will buy some new tyres for the trailer.

okay i might leave the rear ones in and see how they go the front ones are a total stuff up though the diameter of the springs is about 10mm less than the originals there is no way they are going to fit over my spring perches the original ones were a tight enough fit as it was

put in the new valve guide and made a start on seating the new valve to replace the bent one that was there

If youve still got the engine and box out it should be sitting up pretty high and will come down when it all goes back in then as the other guys say it'll sag a bit after a few months and should come down to a good height

Lukes 413 would do the some when he had the drums, changed to dics for that same reason is much better now with the disc's.they still do wear just no were near as bad.

My brakes not to good either after easter trip, calipers caked in mud both front and rear, disc vanes blocked all so,just needed a big clean out, pads dont seam to wear much, havent changed them since owning the vehicle just over 2 years.
Transfer case seal is leaking, when I pulled the hand brake drum off(on drive shaft)the shoes were worn rite down, west coast grinding paste not good for drums
