I've got later model 24 spline stuff now, from a rolled disco.
The front axle was complete, but I had to swap across my vented rotors and big brake calipers. Changed the seals to oil bath the wheel bearings too.
The rear axle I got had a bent casing, so I swapped the hubs, axles and diffhead across.

The biggest difference I noticed (besides the axle splines) was the spider gears, much stronger design in the 24 spline diffs.
If I have any trouble from here I'll go for ARB centres (planned eventually anyway) and aftermarket axles. But with small tyres and sensible driving I think I'll be right for a long time.

As close as you'd ever get to a straight bolt in. I had to change the rear diff from rotoflex to a 4 bolt flange to fit my driveshaft, I had to change 4 studs in the rear diff housing for longer ones and that was about it. I also kept my brake rotors as they were only about 15,000km old.
The rear mud shields didn't fit so will be modified later and bolted back on.

In the front I kept my vented rotors and big calipers, so that involved a lot of monkeying around unbolting disc rotors etc.
The front panhard rod bolts went from 1/2" to 14mm at some stage, I've used the 1/2" bolts in the 14mm hole with no issues
I sat down and did a mental count up of the number of bolts I turned in the swap. Well over 100.
