Check that your insurance is valid if you are on more than a holiday ....
Some policy's have some very strange conditions.
If you wanted, we could arrange to take it for a run for you Queens B\day weekend so it does not feel neglected

There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

in all honesty you should arrange for it to get driven every couple of months ,that way any condensation in diffs ,gbox ,transfer, clutch, etc will get a chance to warm up and dissapate and it will stop brake calipers sticking on .if you do block it up leave the handbrake off as they have a habit of sticking on .stop in on the gold coast either on the way over or the way back .was over there 2 weeks ago and man did i get eyestrain.if only i was a youngER single bloke again

and me thinks I might know a mature person who could off to take up that particular job for you.
hes a nice guy that doesn't get out wheeling much so it would only be used once every 3 months or so and hes actually used to starting a truck thats been idle for a long period of time and making sure it still works.
and hes real cheap too

Re: Storing my truck.
Its a shame that the person you are talking about is cheap skid as its not cheap to run my truck otherwise they could have had it.
Cheers for the ideas guys

ummm, but it only needs a run up the road for 30 mins or so to warm her up and make sure everything goes round before ya park it up again.
that couldn't cost much in gas and besides I'm sure that if the oppurtunity arose, that any person could find the money to put gas in your baby for a day.
it shouldn't cost any more to run than Orange for a day in the bush should it.
hahahahahahaha , maybe you shouldn't let me have it, coz you'll come back and all the good bits and the motor will be sitting in Orange

enjoy the big OE, when do ya head off anyways
