Hilux diff locators

Post by Heath »

Hey guys,

The diff locator on my lux is a little short (after the lift) and pulls real hard on the front diff, rolling it forward (bump steer anyone).

So i splashed out on an adjustable one to hopefully fix this problem.

Question is how much tension should I pre load it with when fitting?

Should it just be done up snug to fit the diff location when stationary and on a flat level ground or should it be under tension?

Hi Heath,
Just adjust it until its the right length at ride height, ie no preload
